Workshops and Retreats

Workshops – whether ½ or full day – offer an introduction to a subject or serve as a means of deepening one’s skills and knowledge without the commitment required by a weekly class.  Along with retreats, they can provide oases of peace within the framework of our busy and frequently pressured lives.  We hope many of you will join us on these very special journeys of discovery.

Please note that bookings and payments for all workshops and retreats must be made by 1pm on the Friday before the workshop or retreat.

Sound Journey

Fully booked!

Friday 21st December 18.45 – 20.45 – Winter Solstice Sound Journey with Pam Mullett Gong, Reiki and Reiki Drumming Practitioner and Jurek Dabrowski Gong Practitioner and Homeopath.
Join us as we celebrate the Winter Solstice, the turning of the sun when days slowly begin to lengthen.  We invite you to journey with sound as we play our gongs, singing bowls and other instruments and then have a warming cup of mulled juice and some energy bites before heading home. You simply sit or lie down on your mat, get super comfy with your blanket and pillow and listen as we combine various sounds and rhythms to create a soundscape. It’s this soundscape that makes it easy for the brain to change from being active and busy to a meditative and more peaceful state.  We believe when we are in this place of deep rest we open up to our own body’s healing, our body systems rebalance and retune to help us feel refreshed and energised just like it does after a really good night’s sleep.

Sound Baths are not recommended during the first and last three months of pregnancy, if you have a pacemaker or metal implants or experience epilepsy or other types of seizures, have a sound sensitive condition such as Labyrinthitis or Meniere’s disease .  Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow – whatever you need to be comfortable. For more details please email Pam at  soundandsilenceu[email protected] Cost £20 Code WSS1 FULLY BOOKED
