Homeopathy

Homeopathy was originally developed in the late 1700’s to manage those conditions which conventional medicine of the day could not. Homeopathy is a gentle and non-invasive method of treatment with no known side-effects.

Homeopathy can be used to treat a wide range of health issues, including:

  • Allergies

  • Migraines

  • Depression

  • Chronic fatigue syndrome

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Irritable bowel syndrome

  • Premenstrual syndrome

  • Other minor issues like bruises, nausea, coughs, and colds.

The fundamental principle of homeopathy is ‘to treat like with like’- that’s to say, the physical and emotional symptoms of a patient can be treated by substances that in large doses would actually produce these same symptoms. Homeopathic remedies are so diluted as to have no laboratory-measurable trace left in the remedy itself. What is in the medicine, however, is the ‘energetic footprint’ of the original substance. It is thought that this energy triggers our bodies to initiate their own healing mechanisms.

During the session, the homeopath will ask a number of questions about your mental, emotional, and physical health. They will then match your symptoms with the best suited remedy and tailor a treatment for you.
