How to De-Stress and Live a Happier Life
Mindfulness is a capacity we all have to live more fully in the present moment, with greater awareness, balance and ease. This excellent course will enable you to establish the foundations of mindfulness in your daily life, bringing a clearer perspective on your thoughts and feelings, greater choice in your reactions and behaviours, a more grounded and calmer way of being, and a fuller appreciation of the good in your life.
Through extensive research, mindfulness has been shown to:
- reduce anxiety, stress and depression
- enhance life satisfaction and self-compassion
- reduce pain and the emotional reaction to it
- improve mood and quality of life
- improve memory, creativity and attention span

Finding Peace in a Frantic World will run online via Zoom for a small group of up to 8 participants. There will be short daily exercises to practise at home and it includes a 1:1 introduction with Helena beforehand where you can discuss any concerns you may have and make sure the course is right for you.
You will need to purchase Mindfulness: a practical guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World by Mark Williams and Danny Penman (book or audio book, approx £10) before the course starts.
