Pilates is a body conditioning programme which helps build strength, flexibility, control and endurance – emphasising alignment, breath and development of a strong core.

NB: Certain health problems could preclude participation in classes. All new bookings will be subject to verbal screening from the instructor before being accepted on a course.
This course will introduce Pilates principles during the first sessions and then will cover basic Pilates exercises thereafter.
Basic exercises with more advanced options for those who have been studying Pilates for longer. Pilates principles will be reviewed in the first session.
Suitable for those who have been at beginners’ level for more than three terms or by agreement with the class teacher. The programme offers a mixture of basic Pilates exercises with progressions to take students up to intermediate level exercises.
These classes are suitable for students without injuries and illnesses and by agreement with the class teacher.

It has not been easy to find a way through the dilemma we’ve been faced with since the Centre’s forced closure a fortnight ago – but we think we’ve alighted on a workable model going forward which we hope you’ll find acceptable too. Here it is:
- you can book for four weeks at a time for £37 and
- you will be able to attend – free of charge – up to 2 further Pilates classes* of your choice each week.
*taught by your tutor
The four week blocks will continue to be offered until lockdown has ended.
