This class is more than just a yoga class, it is a space to come together with like minded teens to share a yoga and meditation practice, as well as make new friendships, share ideas on life, and practice mindful techniques, which all lead to creating an energised, peaceful, relaxed mind and body. This class is also about having fun, creating a practice that will uplift, with some surprising techniques that will create laughter as well as relaxation.
As our young ones reach those teenage years a number of new challenges can come their way, from heightened emotions, to school and exam stress, peer pressure, body image and the thoughts and feelings linked to these can seem overwhelmingly powerful. With traditional yoga techniques, meditation, and breathing, a balance can be created, which can help diminish the power of any of the challenges that our teenagers are faced with.
