Zumba is a fitness workout that combines Latin, jazz, African and other international music with dance moves. Developed in the 1990s in Columbia, it quickly became a phenomenon. Its routines alternate fast and slow rhythms with resistance training to provide effective and fun aerobic exercise. Wednesday’s class is a mixture of Zumba and toning.
