Partnering other local charities and community groups…

Increasingly, we work with other local charities and groups to help deliver services to their users.  Such partnerships include:

Hertswise holds weekly ‘hub’ sessions at the Centre on Wednesdays from 2-4pm which offer fun activities, support, information and respite.  Hertswise is a county-wide service which helps people with dementia, low level memory loss or mild cognitive impairment (along with their families, carers and friends.  For more information, visit

New Leaf Wellbeing College runs free wellbeing courses this autumn at the Centre for anyone on a journey of recovery. Combining theory with practical advice and guidance, the sessions provide both encouragement and an opportunity for reflection.  For more information, visit


Growing People is a small charity which has its base at the Centre and cares lovingly for our grounds and flower beds.  It uses horticultural therapy to support people who are recovering from serious mental health issues. For more information visit

North Herts Emotional Support in Schools Service (NESSie) provides emotional support for children, young people and their parents.  They run regular Parent Forums in partnership with the Centre:  Please see the forums coming up soon here.

Delivering Mindfulness and Yoga in Schools

The Centre is committed to furthering the introduction of Yoga and Mindfulness techniques within schools. This term, the following programmes will be delivered:

Mindfulness for teachers at:
