Counselling in Hertfordshire

The Centre offers many useful methods to support mental health.  Group-based approaches such as Mindfulness, Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, T’ai Chi as well as one-to-one work in Acupuncture and Massage can all be of benefit.

However, talking over problems with a trained counsellor is frequently just what is needed to help us to better understand our thoughts, feelings and behaviour – and to help us to move through difficulties to a more balanced and satisfactory approach to our life’s circumstances.

The Centre’s counselling service is large and diversified:  its counsellors work with adults, children, teens, couples and families. It also runs a low-cost scheme designed for people in difficult financial circumstances, on a low wage, or in receipt of benefits.

We are able to offer: Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, Integrative and Solution-Focussed Counselling; Hypnotherapy; CBT and Creative Arts Therapy.

Our team can help with issues such as: abuse, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bereavement, relationships, addiction, anger, eating disorders and self-harm.
